More and more, people are rejecting factory-produced homeware and rediscovering the soulful nature of hand-crafted goods. The re-emergence of this ancient art is a natural response to our single-use, throw-away culture. People have grown tired of buying mass-produced products—objects which are not unique, meaningful or memorable. In contrast to those “perfect” (symmetrical, even, identical) objects produced by big industry, the true perfection of a handmade pot comes from the impossibility of ever creating another piece exactly like it. Note:  The polish of these products doesn't like contact with acidic food, as it can leave stains. It is also noteworthy, however, that the designers of this series have created this polish on purpose: their idea was that when using this amazing crockery, more and more stains should appear over time, thus telling the  unique story of each piece of crockery.
