The Blue Hall
Try to picture a concert hall which features a large window overlooking a town square instead of a stage. Life that goes on in the square is a performance observed from the concert hall. The Blue Hall shows the thin line that distinguishes real-life from life on stage.
About the artist:
Saulė Pribušauskaitė, illustrator
Saulė started drawing illustrations while studying architecture and realised with time that this was the source of her liberation. Saulė’s illustrations depict the themes arising in her own life or inspired by other artists. Through her drawings, she tries to bring some warmth and colors into daily life.
The urban theme is closely related to Saulė’s profession and frequently features in her drawings. The aging technique which she applies to her illustrations seems to break up the image into thousands of small dots. They create a mood of nostalgia reminiscent of old films.
