About the artist:
Simon Fernandez - is a London-based photographer with over 20 years of experience. He specializes in traditional and digital photography and experiments with black-and-white darkroom printing from negatives and experiments with black-and-white darkroom printing from negatives. Part of his work consists of reproductions of old photographs made by using the so-called gum printing method. Invented in Victorian times, this unconventional photographic printing process has become popular among experimental artists. Photographs are produced by using paint and potassium dichromate.
Simon’s black-and-white artworks feature landscapes and cityscapes.
